Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vincie (born December 10, 1987) is a American sports presenter and journalist. She is a reporter for Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie began her interest in racing in stock cars when she was given a pit-lane entry. She then graduated from Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. Vincie gained attention when her self-made videos about NASCAR were released on stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born December 10 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was raised in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family moved from Warrenton to begin Vincie's high school. Vincie is the youngest child of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother, Eleanor N. Logan was a teacher in the fifth grade and her grandfather was a member of the faculty of Bridgewater College. Vincie was fascinated by journalism from a young age. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School. She competed in track and field events and worked as a manager for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800m competition in the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with an abundance of information. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie was an intern for the university's athletics division. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie penned a senior thesis on the subject of gender in auto racing that specifically focused on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. She became interested in the sport after receiving an entry into the pit lane to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
