Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977, is an American actress , best famous for her performance in 24 and the voice work that she provided for Tess in Naughty Dog’s video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis which she graduated from in 1995. During her youth she participated in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by appearing as an extra on Star Trek: Enterprise. She went on to be a guest star on shows such as Charmed as well as Killer Instinct, Charmed and Supernatural. From March 2007 to November 2007 she had her main character Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. Her other theater credits include the Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching also appeared in several guest roles on TV shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. She also was an episode regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed that Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer which premiered on the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was cast as the role of the Borg queen in the Star Trek: Picard's second season , which begins in September 2021.
