Rowan Blanchard Bio
Rowan Blanchard, a U.S. actor, was born on 14th October
2001. She was featured in Time's list of the most influential teens. Her first appearance was
as Rebecca Wilson in Spy Kids All the Time in the World (2011). She was then
cast in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World (2014)-2017 in which she
received Young Artist Award nominations. Since
then, she's been on the screen as Jackie Geary in ABC's sitcom The Goldbergs
(2017-2018) and Alexandra Cavill (2020-present) on TNT. Blanchard was the daughter of Elizabeth Blanchard-Boulbol
and Mark Blandhard-Boulbol Yoga instructors. Her grandfather, who is paternal, is from Syrian, Armenian
and Lebanese origin, and her maternal grandmother hails of England, Denmark and
Sweden. Her paternal grandparents
travelled together in Aleppo (present-day Syria). Named after the character of Anne Rice in The Witching Hour,
she was named after her. Rowan is the
younger of two siblings, Carmen and Shane. Blanchard began acting when she was the age of five. She
first appeared as Mona's daughter in The Back-up Plan. Later she joined the
main cast of Disney Junior Original Series Dance-a-Lot Robot's Caitlin. Blanchard was first cast in Spy Kids All the Time in the
World in the year 2011 as Rebecca Wilson, and in Little in Common as Raquel
Pacheco in 2011. Blanchard was also cast
in the Disney Channel's Girl Meets World series as Riley Matthews in January
2013. Alongside Sabrina Carpenter,
Blanchard sings the title track. The main
character of the show is Cory and Topanga's daughter from Boy Meets World. She was a active Disney Channel Circle of Stars participant. Blanchard was part of the Disney Channel Original Movie
Invisible Sister as Cleo beginning in January of 2015.
